Common
scenarios.
Illustrative engagements drawn from our practice ledger. Specifics anonymised, outcomes representative — not a guarantee.
Single 30-day extension where the original DL allows. We file 5 working days before expiry; passport returned with new sticker.
DT category renewed mid-cycle following a change in investment scale. Filing reflects updated IRC capital amount and revised TRC term.
What we wish
every client knew.
Pitfalls and constraints we see weekly. Not legal advice — but the questions you should ask your counsel before signing anything.
Extension may only be filed before expiry. Filing post-expiry triggers the overstay regime (Decree 144/2021/NĐ-CP).
Some categories (LD, DT) require the sponsoring entity's tax-compliance certificate to be current.
A different
standard of care.
Named-counsel accountability
Every filing is signed by a bar-registered counsel — never by an anonymous case officer.
Bilingual evidence packs
All exhibits prepared in EN/VI with notarial certification — accepted first-time by the relevant authority.
Same-day filing capacity
On-site presence at Hanoi, HCMC and Da Nang Immigration Departments enables emergency lodgement.
